Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it will receive $3.26 million CAD to modernize the processing of land information requests coming from the National Land Information Service (NLIS) and provide a seven-year managed service to the newly created Central Bedfordshire Council in Eastern England.
The NLIS modernization initiative aims to significantly decrease response time for land and property information requests to Local Authorities. As part of this initiative, Central Bedfordshire Council will enable requests coming from NLIS to be processed primarily on an electronic basis, further reducing the delivery time.
