Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has signed a contract with Hallmark HIPs Limited (Hallmark), an established consortium of chartered surveyors, estate agents, and solicitors in Bath, England, to provide them with a complete HIPs solution.
Hallmark has chosen MDA as the partner who can provide the most comprehensive solution to support Hallmark’s offering of a complete HIP to local independent members. Hallmark will distribute the HIPs produced by MDA under its own brand name. In order to encourage the take-up of HIPs prior to compulsion mid next year, the Department of Communities and Local Government has scheduled trials starting November 6th for six specific areas. Hallmark is looking to participate in the local Bath trial area.
