Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it will receive CAD $10.5 million over seven years to provide and maintain an information solution to the Bromsgrove District Council.
This program, which will electronically process land information requests coming from the National Land Information Service (NLIS) in England, will be the largest and most comprehensive Local Authority modernization project MDA has carried out to date in England.
Local Authorities that are undergoing, or have undergone, modernization through MDA's NLIS-LAMP program in the U.K. include Slough, Bolton, Liverpool, Telford & Wrekin, South Norfolk, Canterbury, Sandwell, Redcar and Cleveland, and Waveney.
