UAE Armed Forces Buys Mapping Information Solution

Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary -Triathlon Ltd.- signed a contract with General Headquarters of United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Armed Forces to deliver a information solution consisting of high-resolution digital mapping models of the UAE terrain.

The UAE Military Survey Department is upgrading its base mapping information of the entire area of United Arab Emirates. The updated mapping information set will consist of high-resolution maps and terrain models delivered in a digital form.
