Richmond, B.C. - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has signed a three-year agreement valued at $12 million CDN to provide in-service support to the Naval Combat Operator Trainer (NCOT) solution delivered several years ago to the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND).
Originally developed by MDA, the solution mimics control rooms of naval vessels and is used for training in operational procedures and decision making. The agreement contracts MDA to provide in-service support, which will include upgrading its solution to reflect ship enhancements and ongoing changes in training procedures.
